Anyone who listens to My teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. KIN
CHINA 🇨🇳

Her ayi's carrying her high in her arms right into this room heavy with the scent of fried rice and dumplings, floor lit with these planks of the rising China sun.
She is all I can see, she's a prism of light, broken and fracturing light into a kaleidoscope of color everywhere for me. My word, child. Your story of trauma and loss will always have a witness, and all my withness, and I promise you, you will never, ever have to walk this road alone.* You are deeply safe to ache with me, you are fully free to grieve with me, you are wholly seen and known, as you truly are, by me, and together we will hold space to hold deep pain in one hand, and the real grace in the other, because this is what it means to be wholeheartedly human. And in the middle of the trauma of this brokenhearted hallelujah, know too: You are a constellation we were always looking for.
You are a shore we had to find. You are a wonder, an unexpected answer to how many years of lost echoes. Her ayi, gently leaning forehead in to touch her bowed one, points to me, calls to me:

How can I slow, still, and breathe in a place of trust with God today?

Still all the worry.... Hush all the hurry.... Breathe. breathe deeply...
I live in the spacious, non-anxious presence of (Abba) God.

One
"I and the Father are one."
The Jews picked up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them,
"I have shown you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you going to stone me?" The Jews answered him, "It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you but for blasphemy, because you, being a man, make yourself God." Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your Law, 'I said, you are gods? If he called them gods to whom the word of God came—and Scripture cannot be broken— do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world,
'You are blaspheming, because I said, 'I am the Son of God? If I am not doing the works of my Father, then do not believe me; but if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father." Again they sought to arrest him, but he escaped from their hands.
He went away again across the Jordan to the place where John had been baptizing at first, and there he remained. And many came to him.
And they said, "John did no sign, but everything that John said about this man was true." And many believed in him there.
