I have decided to close my childminding bussiness as of the 25th August 2022, due to taking another job offering and amoungst other reasons.

This has been a tough decision to make but it's one that I have had to put my family first and couldn't pass an amazing opportunity.

Although I have only been running this bussiness for a year, I can't thank people enough for the amazing support they have given me and the countless requests I have had. As well as those parents who have trusted me to provide care for their children.

Il be forever grateful for this experience and journey, as it has taught me so much and made me realise that anything is possible if you put your mind to it.

However, the time has come where I have to put my family first, and do what's right by us all and I will hopefully be making a move in the near future too.

Thank you all once again for your support 🙏

So the new sensory tray has arrived and these girls couldn't wait to test it out for me 🥰

They have made use of loose parts and used their imaginations to form pictures with it. As part of our Welsh learning they used the colourful sand to mark make and practiced the Welsh alphabet and letters.

Loads of awesome ideas/activities are waiting to be done using this handy new tray and can't wait to purchase further things to use for it along the way 😁

Hello 👋

Sorry I haven't been very active lately, I had booked a week off work to catch up on a few things as well as just been busy with my own life in the mean time 🙈.

But now we are back working and into action, I like to share how I kicked off my week. We were learning to match colours by demonstrating myself, and with the resources being animals we practiced the noises of what each animal makes too. We also used the tongs to practise our fine motor skills, as well as making use of recyclable items and turning them into resources to help our fine motor skills again.

Some mark marking was done, followed by playing with the cars, where we were also learning cause and effect whilst doing these simple things.

Excited for the delivery that is arriving today too, that will enable us to develop our sensory play and imagination too. So, hopefully I will be able to post some pictures of that next week once the little ones have got stuck into it. 🥰

Nothing like getting out for a whole day. 🌞

The 5 kids and me managed to get down to sandy park to have a play and then had a picnic. We then went to the groe park where we went to the river to try and catch some little fish too.
We ventured up to play on the soft play and the bouncy castle at Rhayader leisure centre.
Then back for a play in the garden.

Am well and truly done in 😂 but what a fabulous day we had!
