🌟 What a fantastic last week at Rhayader Under 5s!

From exploring healthy eating through imaginative play, developing fine motor skills with cutting, puzzles and threading activities, to balancing, climbing and building confidence outdoors, our little learners have been busy every step of the way.

The highlight of the week was our exciting trip to watch The Gruffalo Live! 📚🌳 The children were captivated by the magical performance, bringing a much-loved story to life while encouraging imagination, language and a love of books.

Every activity is to support children’s learning, independence, creativity and confidence through play.

A huge thank you to our wonderful staff, volunteers and families for making these experiences possible. We can’t wait to see what this week brings! 💚

Adventure is waiting… right here in Rhayader! ☀️

You don’t have to travel far for a day full of fun, fresh air and adventure.

Some of our favourite local places to explore with little ones include:

🚲 The Pump Track – perfect for balance bikes, scooters and bikes.
🌳 Waun Capel Park – climbing, swings, sand, woodland, tennis, games and plenty of space to run.
🌊 The Groe – open green spaces, riverside walks, play areas and lots of room for family picnics and games.
🏞️ The Elan Valley – beautiful walks, cycling routes, wildlife, dams and breathtaking scenery for little explorers.
