Year 2 spent an afternoon in the woodland area making their own plant pots out of different materials - newspaper, tin foil and bubble wrap. This science enquiry will help them find out which material is the most suitable. Will their runner bean, ox eye daisy and cress seeds successfully grow?

'Reception took part in one of Scholastic’s live lesson where they listened to the author Alice Hemming reading her story of ‘The Sun Thief’. They then took part in a drawing lesson with the illustrator ‘Nicola Slater’. They all showed great concentration and accuracy with their drawing'.
