Hot cross buns, hot cross buns ! One a penny two a penny hot cross buns !😋

Our pre-school children have been baking some traditional hot cross buns which we enjoyed toasted with butter on for nursery tea , they were delicious !

Today we had an exciting visit from the Easter Bunny to our Forest school. The children had lots of fun finding all the eggs they had hidden.

What a brilliant week we had celebrating world book day. Our children enjoyed reading books inside, outside, in the tunnel, on the hill, just about everywhere!
Our forest school focussed on Mr Wolf's Pancakes. This is one of our core books, which involved a story around our camp fire followed by some tasty pancakes cooked on it, delicious !

We also paid a visit to our local Library where the children selected books to bring back and share with their friends.

Back at nursery we re-stocked our Bed time story libraries so that those stories can come home too.

Forest school Fun!

Our children have been getting wrapped up and active in forest school during January.
Whether it's exploring the tunnels, making muddy puddles, feeding the birds or just experiencing all that weather! Theres always something new to spark learning and promote a love of the great outdoors!
