This week our Blue Floor children applied to become REB-Ls (Renton Ethos Builders Leaders) They completed an application form and had an interview.
We are delighted to announce our 2026/27 REB-Ls.
They have already had lots of questions and ideas for us!

We are looking forward to welcoming all the boys and girls back to school and nursery on Monday. Our staff have been very busy working on learning environments and curriculum planning so that we are Ready for our children.
Please could all families ensure that all medication required is brought in on Monday.

Claim your School Clothing Grant now!

Parents and carers who may be eligible for financial support with the cost of school uniforms are encouraged to apply now to receive their payment before the new school term starts.

✅ £150 per secondary school pupil
✅ £120 per primary school pupil

If your child was automatically awarded the grant last year, you may still need to provide proof of earnings. If your circumstances have changed since last year, or you're applying for the first time, you'll need to submit a new application.

Apply early to make sure you receive your grant in time for the new term.

Free Summer Holiday Activities for Families! 🌞⚽

Families across West Dunbartonshire can enjoy a fun-packed summer thanks to the SHINE programme – offering a wide range of FREE activities for children and young people over the school holidays.

The Council’s “School Holidays Involve Nurture & Engage” (SHINE) is a six week action packed programme that will help keep children fit, entertained and having fun over the school holidays.

It’s been a busy year of excellent learning in Renton. Thank you to all of our families for your support. We hope everyone has a lovely summer.
Wishing our P7s the best of luck as they move in to secondary school. We will miss every one of them but know they will go on to do great things.

Primary 7 had a great day, starting with a film in the gym hall with all the bean bags and mats to make it cosy and plenty of popcorn. Followed by a trip to the park in the sunshine then finishing up with a pizza party! Well done Primary 7, a lovely day to celebrate a great year ☀️😁👏

We had a lovely afternoon and evening celebrating our P7 leavers this week. What a lovely, emotional afternoon they gave everyone 🥲
A big thank you to everyone who came along to support them, to staff and pupils from VOLA and a huge thank you to our lovely Parent Council who made their evening very special and memorable. We are going to miss them all!
