The Nursery’s objective is to provide high quality childcare where the children feel happy, secure, safe and stimulated thus building their self esteem and confidence to help them be well motivated and independent learners. In order to achieve this we aim to:

Provide a high ratio of qualified and experienced staff. Work in Partnership with parents to meet the individual
needs of their child throu

gh ongoing observation and assessment of children’s learning. Provide a broad and practical curriculum that encourages the child’s intellectual and social growth. Promote an ethos of equality and fairness, which respects and values all members of the nursery. Provide high quality resources, efficiently organised, to support effective learning and teaching. Establish a team, led by the Manager, which works effectively towards the success of the nursery. As a Renfrewshire Council Partnership Nursery, we may be able to offer subsidised places. We work in partnership with Renfrewshire Council to provide Pre School funded places for 3 and 4 year old children. As part of this contract we are able to access staff training and support services from our Pre Five Development Officer to ensure we are providing a service that is up to date and in line with local and national government guidelines.

Well done to Natalie Farrell 🌟!

Natalie works at Little Flowers Nursery in Renfrew. She has now completed her Modern Apprenticeship and successfully achieved her qualification, Social Services Children and Young People at Level 7 🤩👏🏻

Natalie told us that she was so happy to be qualified and that she has enjoyed her training 🙌🏻

We are very excited for our visit from The Skoobmobile tomorrow morning! The Skoobmobile travels through the community to promote a love of reading and to help improve literacy.
The Skoobmobile will park at the nursery and the children will have the opportunity to hop on in small groups.

Some of the vegetables we have grown in our eco garden, well done to all the boys and girls who are part of our eco committee and thank you to Renfrew Association of Growers and Gardeners - SCIO for all their help and support.

The children have enjoyed taking different vegetables home to try and have been making soup in nursery.

The preschool children have been busy making penpals with Glencoats Lodge Nursery in Paisley. We were excited to share pictures of our new playdough station with them and they have sent us a letter back. Little Flowers have been busy looking after their potatoes and their leeks in the eco garden, they have grew massively over the weeks and children were excited to get cooking. We have made potato and leek soup and a yummy vegetable soup. Another thank you to Renfrew Association of Growers and Gardeners - SCIO for the continued help and support.
