Every month this year I'm hosting mini-showcases for students perform. I figured that they work so hard on their pieces and rarely have the opportunity to perform them. Like really impressive trains that never get to leave the station. Performing is a skill and confidence and ease is found on the other side of fear.

We just concluded the first one this morning and I am so proud of everyone. Special shout out to our first performer who was quite nervous but despite that went up and performed from memory brilliantly. Well done.

Here's to 11 more this year. 🎹🎶

🎹 Piano Lessons for All Ages in Rempstone! 🎹

Are you or your child looking to learn piano? I’m offering lesson slots on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings and daytime slots available for adults.

I teach all levels, from complete beginners to Grade 8, across ABRSM, Trinity, and Rock School syllabuses. With a Bachelor’s in Music with a focus on classical performance and over 10 years of teaching experience, I design lessons to suit your goals, whether you're preparing for exams or playing for personal enjoyment.

My students also have the chance to perform twice a year in showcases I host which include a mix of duets and solo performances, a fantastic opportunity to share their progress and build confidence.

Above all, my goal is to help my students enjoy the process of creating music, ensuring that they take away more than just musical education but a creative outlook on whatever ventures they pursue.

Lessons are held at my home in Rempstone, providing a welcoming and focused environment for learning in my music room.

How to FLOW

One way to play with FLOW is to practise IRREGULAR RHYTHMS.

The first example is a dotted rhythm with the long note first, followed by it's opposite, short note first; this is designed to IRON OUT the irregularities in our playing!
