Micklefield School, Reigate

Micklefield School, Reigate Micklefield is an independent coeducational school and nursery for children aged 2 1/2 to 11 years old.

We are located close to Reigate town centre, just a few minutes walk from Reigate train station, making the school an excellent choice for parents who commute to work each day. Reigate itself is a vibrant town which has been voted one of the best places to live in the UK on several occasions. It has parks and green spaces close to the centre and local sports clubs are often hubs of friendship for

parents and children outside of school. Micklefield has a strong family focus with relationships, communication and shared values at the heart of everything we do. Learning is fun here and our children feel happy and loved. Our ethos, combined with small class sizes, pioneering teaching methods and a broad range of extracurricular activities, ensure the children excel academically. They also grow into kind, well rounded individuals with strong values and personal skills which will help them lead happy and successful lives well beyond their time at Micklefield. We are proud to be part of the Reigate Grammar School (RGS) family and this means Micklefield children can transfer to RGS senior school without the need to sit an exam (instead their progress is closely tracked). We also have a renowned 11+ programme to support children who wish to transfer to other senior schools.

It’s wonderful to hear about Micklefield pupils helping our local community.

School holidays had only just begun, but Oscar and Sam decided to spend part of theirs volunteering at our warehouse on Friday.

After helping with some heavy lifting and sorting through donations of LEGO sets, they didn't stop there. They headed home and set up a lemonade stand, selling drinks alongside delicious cookies baked by Sam's sister, Izzie, to raise even more money for Stripey Stork.

We think that's pretty inspiring!

We're so grateful for their support. It's lovely to see young people choosing to spend some of their summer helping others, and every donation they raise will help us continue supporting families across Surrey and Croydon.

A huge thank you to Oscar, Sam and Izzie.
