A trip to the library is always exciting! Our Nursery children enjoyed exploring the shelves and selecting a book to take home and share with their family. Sharing stories together helps foster a love of reading, encourages imagination, and supports early language skills. We hope they have lots of fun reading their special stories together.

Our Year 1 children enjoyed a fascinating Toy Workshop, where they discovered toys from three generations of one family, including some that were nearly 100 years old. From teddy bears and figurines to train sets, books and a large dolls' house with furniture, they learned how toys were made from different materials and how they have changed over time. The children were amazed to discover that many picture books were printed in black and white, with pages as thick as cardboard.

WOW Day was a great success! The children looked amazing and loved sharing their future career ideas. We had lots of fun running a restaurant and a hospital, as well as taking part in firefighter fitness exercises, giving the children a chance to explore different jobs and careers through role play and practical activities. A fun and exciting start to the year!
