Are You Willing To Fight For Your Health?
Changing your health is hard. And that’s exactly why it changes you.
After nearly 30 years of coaching, I’ve seen people spend a lot of time looking for an easier way to get healthier.
An easier diet.
An easier workout.
A way to get results without feeling uncomfortable.
But meaningful change doesn’t work like that.
If you want to become stronger, fitter and healthier after 50, there will be times when it’s difficult.
You’ll have to exercise when you don’t feel like it.
You’ll have to make better food choices when the easier option is right there.
You’ll have to say no.
You’ll have to be disciplined when motivation disappears.
And sometimes you’ll simply have to accept being uncomfortable.
I’ve learned this through my own training and endurance challenges too.
Discomfort isn’t always a sign that something is going wrong.
Sometimes it’s evidence that you’re asking yourself to change.
You don’t need to make your health unnecessarily difficult.
But you do need to accept that becoming a stronger, healthier and more resilient person will require hard work.
Don’t spend your life trying to avoid discomfort. Build the strength to handle it. 💪
