Today is about them.

Our Class of 2026 have worked, grown, persevered and achieved something extraordinary. These are our best GCSE results ever, with outcomes higher than the national pass rate, and we could not be prouder.

But behind every result is a journey. The late nights, the moments of self-doubt, the encouragement, the celebrations, the teachers and staff who believed in them, and the parents who stood beside them every step of the way.

Today, we celebrate every student, every achievement and every journey that brought them here.

Last Friday marked the end of the academic year and the morning was crammed with fun, including a whole school water fight and when we say ‘whole school water fight’, we mean absolutely everyone! From the students to the teachers to our support team - no one was safe, and there was absolutely nowhere to hide from the water! Once the front lawn cleared and everyone was thoroughly soaked, we got the ultimate reward: a visit from the ice cream van! Nothing cures a soaking like a classic 99 or a refreshing ice lolly. Same time next year!

Passing the torch! Big shoes to fill, but our new student leadership team are more than ready and officially ready to step up.

Please join us in welcoming our new student leaders: Head Boy Madoc, Head Girl Becky, Deputy Head Boy Yusuf, and Deputy Head Girl Sophie. They take over the reins from our fantastic 2025/26 team - Barnaby, Lola, Luke, and Zelie.

At yesterday’s prize-giving ceremonies, all four blew us away with their inaugural speeches. Delivered with poise, passion, and genuine heart, they perfectly showcased the empathy, energy, and eloquence we love to see in our students. Prize-giving 2026 is officially a wrap! Yesterday, our marquee was absolutely buzzing with incredible vibes, camaraderie, and talent as we celebrated every single student across both our Junior and Senior schools. From hard-earned prizes and trophies, to reflective speeches, to some absolutely astonishing musical performances that blew us all away, the energy was unmatched!

As the academic year draws to a close, it seems like a natural time to reflect on everything that makes our school community so special. Days like our Sports Day yesterday and Prize Giving tomorrow don’t just happen by magic. They are pulled together by a phenomenal team of unsung heroes who work tirelessly behind the scenes weeks in advance, as well as on the day itself to make sure everything runs flawlessly.

We are incredibly fortunate to have a team that works side-by-side across our entire school. Not only do they put in the hours of preparation and on-the-ground teamwork to make these massive events happen smoothly, but they also ensure that every single day at Moon Hall is a positive, supportive, and engaging learning experience for our students.

Sports Day 2026 - and wow, it was a hot one! Ironically rescheduled to today, due to the recent heatwave, but what we faced in temperature, we matched in ability, enthusiasm, and fun.
