Reepham Primary School

Reepham Primary School Our school vision is to 'Inspire, Challenge and Succeed Together' Inspire
We are passionate about creating learning experiences to inspire our children.

Equally, our children inspire us every day with their curiosity, talent, determination and enthusiasm. Our curriculum is inspired by our community and surroundings, through which we ensure our children can create their own identity. At Reepham Primary, as pupils, staff, parents, and governors, we inspire each other to create a dynamic learning environment. Challenge
In order to grow and improve we

must be challenged. We believe that, with a little guidance early on, our children are the best people to decide on their own level of challenge, and as such we have created a curriculum which promotes opportunities for learning, confidence building and stretching ourselves. Once children are feeling inspired and confident, our experience is that they naturally push themselves to their limits to be the best they can be. Our children thrive on a challenge based curriculum, balanced with guidance and support. Succeed Together
The best learning cannot happen in isolation; children rarely improve by sitting in silence and listening all day. Collaborative learning experiences, opportunities for discussion and debate and extending each other’s thinking with different viewpoints and opinions are all central to our curriculum. Teamwork is taught and then developed and children are constantly encouraged to share their ideas and support each other. Working together means everyone makes good progress and succeeds.

We’re excited to be celebrating Sports Week soon! Throughout the week, we have a range of different sports coaches coming into school to provide the children with some amazing sporting opportunities and experiences.

Our Sports Day will take place on Tuesday 23rd June.

🏅KS2 – Morning session
🏅KS1 – Afternoon session

Families are warmly encouraged to attend and support the children throughout the day. We would love lots of cheering and encouragement as we aim to make Sports Day as positive, enjoyable and fun as possible for everyone involved!

On Sports Day, we will also be having a picnic lunch, and families are invited to join their children for lunch on the field.

An ice cream van will be available at lunchtime and after school. They will be selling plant-based options and sorbets, and the van is completely nut free 🍦

Any questions please get in touch with Miss Saunders.

We look forward to a fun-filled week of sport, teamwork and enjoyment!

Magpie Class had the most amazing, sunny, fun day at Salle Farm. We started our morning with a snack and then learned all about the gardens—what they grow and how different plants smell. We also had a garden treasure hunt to complete, which the children were amazing at, and they even helped to plant peas.
We stopped for lunch and had a picnic, as well as a run around while we waited for the trailer ride to arrive. Once it did, we boarded and set off around the farm.
At the farm, we saw all sorts of things. We helped to grind wheat to turn it into flour, and we also looked at old and new tractors, spotting the differences between them.
We did so much more too, like making echoes, weighing the class, and spotting some lambs in a field.
We all had such a lovely day, and the Magpies would like to say a big thank you to Salle farm and all the grown ups we met there - you were great, and we really appreciate you letting us come and spend the day there.
What a fab day!

A huge well done to the Puffins for a fantastic Roman Day! Despite the wet weather, the children had an amazing time immersing themselves in hands-on learning all about Roman life. A big thank you to Roman Britain Schools Workshop for delivering such a brilliant experience. I think our rabbit from Shizuka loved it too.
