As Headteacher of Redruth School, and on behalf of the staff and governors of the school, I am delighted that following the hard work of our Year 11 students, they have achieved a very well-deserved, strong set of results. All students deserve congratulations as they embark on their next steps. The school has improved GCSE results yet again, with more students achieving pass rates above the national average across a number of subjects. Impressively, students have achieved double the number of top grades at 7-9 throughout the school.
Our school prides itself on an all-round education and whilst reaching potential is an important part, so too are the relationships, experiences and positive memories that this group have made at Redruth School. The class of 2026 have applied themselves fully and have been a credit to the school, their parents/ carers and the community. It is great to see them fulfil their potential and I wish them well in the next stage of their lives.
Thank you to all who joined us to celebrate the GCSE results being awarded this morning; there was a truly special atmosphere. I hope your celebrations continue throughout the day and beyond."
