🌱Introducing the Redruth Library Seed Swap 💚 Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out, bring along any spare seeds and exchange them for something new to grow at home. If possible, please drop seeds into us here at the library before the event or you can bring them on the day.
⏰13:00-16:00
🗓Saturday 24th October
📍Redruth Library, Civic Centre, Alma Place, TR15 2AT
🎟Drop-in, no need to book
🌿No seeds to swap? Still come along and collect some seeds to take home.
🔧Running at the same time as the seed swap, there will be a How to Run a Repair Cafe event. Learn how repair cafes work or how you could get involved in one.
This event will be a great way to share resources, discover different varieties, support biodiversity, and connect with fellow growers. Join us in helping gardens flourish while promoting sustainability, one seed at a time!
Thank you to our colleagues from the Redruth Town Council facilities team for supporting this event 💚
This event is part of the Redruth Library & Information Service Green Library Hub and is part of our Green Libraries Week schedule. The Green Library Hubs project is a 3-year project, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and led by CILIP to support libraries and their users to take climate action in their communities. It is delivered in partnership with the British Library , Julie's Bicycle and CAG Consultants along with 10 public libraries.
