*Borrowing Library*

At Treleigh Nursery we love reading and what better way to share our love of stories than with our Borrowing Library, located in the foyer.

Each book bag contains a story and an activity card, designed to prompt conversation and a love of learning.

The book bags can be borrowed for up to week and swapped as often as you like.

Please remember to check out any books you borrow and tick the box when they have been returned.

Enjoy reading everyone!

Did you know a group of ladybirds is called a Loveliness? This week Wheal Fox discovered a huge number of them in the garden. We learned that ladybirds begin life as tiny eggs, hatch into larvae (which look a bit like red-and-black woodlice), then form a pupa before emerging as adult ladybirds. Using our magnifying glasses, we closely examined them and talked about the different colours and patterns on their backs. 🐞🐞🐞

🍎What a marvellous day for a crumble!🥧

The children in Wheal Fox had a wonderful day making the most of our very own special nursery space.

We harvested apples from our garden, prepared them ourselves and then cooked them over our outdoor fire. What an adventure!

The children worked together to create a delicious apple crumble, which we were so proud to share with our families.

How lucky we are to have the opportunity to learn, explore, cook and create such wonderful memories right here in our very own special place at nursery!

A huge well done to all our little chefs— you were amazing!
