I'd love to get a sense of how much parents are supported outside of breastfeeding!

This wave like motion is called peristalsis and helps to massage the breast and draw milk out.

Nothing brightens the mood like a little schnacky schnack in silence.

In my defence I did have to come down to Falmouth to collect a marketplace bargain, and Steve and Quinn are amusing themselves in the woods with the RC cars.

I’ve zeroed in on the word invaluable because it’s the one families keep using. (Not me - it still makes me blush 🙃). I’m sharing a few of those comments today, and I’m genuinely thankful to everyone who’s taken the time to send reviews and very kind words. They’re not why I do this job, but they do remind me that the support is landing where it is needed.

It is such a privilege to support you all with my Free clinic, my WhatsApp service and home visits.

Thank you. 💛

Yes this is picky and OCD. Yes my husband is long suffering. I am acutely aware that I am not always a peach to live with.

But I know many of you out there, especially perhaps those of you joining me on entering the joys of perimenopause, will understand why my eye was twitching.

And actually, this perfectly highlights the different ways people (I dare not say men and women) think.

For my husband this was inconsequential. Why does it matter? The task was complete.

For me, this wardrobe currently has no doors, and I had created a clear order. I had taken the time to organise the space, everything had a place. And my husband didn't care to notice. I wish my brain didn't see that as a slight. But joy of (womanly?) joys, it did.

Whether that feeling was logical, or right or wrong, it's how it felt in that moment to my brain. And had I seen my husband in that moment, I would have been critical and he would have felt nagged. And that is why communication is so important. When my eye stops twitching, I will try and calmly explain why something so inconsequential and 'stupid' meant something much more to me.

I will still come across as picky and ridiculous, but he might understand my weird hormonal brain just a little more.

And, aside from being super cute, they can help as part of a facial massage routine, for babies who have facial tension, and are struggling to feed.
