Thank you to the children for bringing in their fossils, it was fascinating hearing their fossil hunting stories! The children loved using fossils as inspiration to create incredible pieces of woven artwork. We all had a fantastic creative experience, thank you Olga! 💫

We had a fantastic cave painting workshop with incredible artist Kate Walters last Saturday, at the Mount Pleasant Ecological Park. The children started by learning about cave painting, and drawing from an image with charcoal and pastels. They finished by using their imagination to create their own creature that they would paint in a cave. We had storytime with homemade dinosaur biscuits, and organic fruit. A big thank you to Kate, it was such a joyous and magical creative experience!💫

We are excited to let you know, that the next creative workshop course, will be ‘The Magic of the Prehistoric Age’ held at the amazing Mount Pleasant Ecological Park. We will be creating in a wonderful studio, surrounded by green space.
We have talented local artists joining us, to create exciting art pieces with our Little Ferns.
Ceramics, sculpture, painting, printmaking, weaving and lots more. There will be storytelling with homemade cookies and organic fruit. We are looking forward to a fun packed 6 weeks! 🦕🌿🪨🐾🌿🦖
