We have a part-time vacancy for a Farm Hand, £10-14.50 per hour (dependent on age) doing a minimum of 8 hours per week on a shift pattern, including weekends and holidays...

The role of the Farm Hand will be to support the staff team in looking after all aspects of our farm duties including animal welfare, farm cleaning, feeding and sometimes working with students to enhance their opportunities for learning. We are looking for a proactive person with a positive can-do attitude and good people skills. This is a great job for someone studying Animal Care or Management at Level 3 or equivalent, or for someone looking to gain experience working with animals.

Well what a week we’ve had in Madrid. For most, the highlight was our visit to the Bernabeu Stadium yesterday. Students also rose to the challenge, all going to get tapas in groups - some enjoyed it more than others but they all tried! We’re a very tired group on the way to the airport but it’s been a fantastic adventure.

Day one and two have involved A LOT of steps! Monday was a tour of Madrid followed by a trip to Europe’s biggest Primark. Today, boating at Retiro Park and the Royal Palace (and probably more shopping if the girls have their way!)
