YMCA East Surrey Y-Kids

Today is International day of play! This highlights the essential role of play in childhood development and well-being. At Y-Kids, all children have the opportunity to engage in safe, inclusive, and meaningful play.

Our Children at one of our Breakfast and Afterschool Clubs last week had been lucky enough to meet and hold the baby chicks. There are 14 in total and we are loving them!

Just a reminder that our open event for YMCA Sovereign Centre is on Thursday 11th June! If your child attends, or is going to attend, Dovers green, Reigate Priory or Sandcross school, come down and see us!

Our outdoor playground has always been loved with the children at our afterschool and holiday clubs!

For our theme of 'environment week', our afterschool club at Sovereign Centre have been lucky enough to meet, feed and stroke the pet snail at our YMCA Sovereign preschool!

Come and join us for our bake sale and lemonade stand at YMCA Sports and Community Centre until 4pm today, 29th May! The children have enjoyed making tasty treats for donations to raise money for YMCA East Surrey.

At Y-Kids, the theme today was bugs and insects! The children loved making suncatchers and seeing them shine outside... We even making our own lady bird rocks!
