A reminder that our Open Evening will be Thursday 2 July from 5.30 - 9pm. You will get a chance to tour the school, meet teachers and find out more about St Bede’s. There will also be 3 Headteacher talks at 5.45pm, 7pm and 8.15pm.

Before half term, Year 12 students were given the opportunity to visit the University of Sussex and St Hilda’s College, Oxford to experience life on campus. As a key part of our Sixth Form Careers and Excellence programmes, these visits help students to clarify their personal goals and teach them how to get the most out of their own independent open day visits. From interactive taster lectures and campus tours to talks from student ambassadors about finance and accommodation, the visits give students a true taste of university life and a clear roadmap on how to make it happen.

Our successful SEND department are seeking a SEND Support Assistant to provide in-class support as well as 1:1 support to our SEND students. Are you a patient and adaptable team-player, who has experience working with young people? Our Behaviour & Student Support (BaSS) unit, are looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join them. The appointed person will assist with any behavioural, emotional or safeguarding difficulties that arise during the school day, supervise students and provide keyworker support. Our Behaviour and Student Support Department (The BaSS) are seeking a Behaviour Support Officer to join their highly successful department. The appointed person will be patient, calm & adaptable and will be required to assist with students who may experience behavioural, emotional and safeguarding difficulties during the school day, provide keyworker support for individual students and supervise students in isolation.
