Thailand complete✅🇹🇭
In their last few days of the trip our students were welcomed by tourism students at Kanchanaburi Vocational College, where they made mocktails, cooked traditional Thai dishes and experienced Thai student life.
The next day, they took to the River Kwai in kayaks, embracing the adventure tourism side of their itinerary.🛶
To finish the programme, they worked in teams to create and present their own travel itineraries, putting everything they had learned on the trip into practice. The evening ended with certificates, dinner and karaoke.🎤🤩
There was one final surprise before heading home… the chance to feed and wash elephants, the perfect way to end an amazing experience.
Thailand, over and out! 🇹🇭✈️

Thailand Update 🇹🇭🔔
After leaving Bangkok, our Travel & Tourism students have settled into Kanchanaburi.🌴
Over the weekend, they explored sustainable tourism and got hands on with eco-friendly practices, as well as enjoyed some well earned downtime at their hotel.
Today, they visited the Hellfire Pass Memorial and War Cemetery, learning about the history of WWII and the importance of cultural and historical tourism. Lunch by the river was the perfect way to round off the day, giving students time to reflect on everything they’ve experienced so far as they reach the halfway point of their trip.🤩🤩

The following day included a visit to a coconut sugar factory, where they tried fresh coconut water, before travelling to Kanchanaburi with a stop at one of Thailand’s famous floating markets. 🛶🥥
