Dear Parents/Carers,
As we look forward to the May half term, we felt it was important to remind you that staff who would normally be available to support you with concerns you have about your child’s health or wellbeing, will not be available.
We would like to suggest the following sources of support should you deem this necessary or appropriate for your child.
As always, if it is an emergency, call the police or 112 from a mobile.
Mindworks - https://www.mindworks-surrey.org/ - please call the 24/7 mental health crisis line free on 0800 915 4644. It’s open all day and all night, seven days a week.
There is also a free out-of-hours phone line that provides advice to parents and carers who are struggling with behaviours or difficulties which could be related to neurodevelopmental need, such as autism or ADHD.Skilled and friendly advisers will talk carers and families through ways of calming down difficult situations and remind them of their coping strategies. It runs from 5pm until 11pm, seven days a week, 365 days a year*. Please call 0300 222 5755.
Childline - https://www.childline.org.uk/ - 0800 1111
