We have already planned days out around where I can feed the ever growing child! Sometimes he wants adult meals sometimes children’s!

So if I can feed him for less it all helps!

Happy summer everyone # #

Hello all.

If you have ever met this lovely (local to me) mum, had your hair cut by her or attended one of her small business sales as a seller or buyer, you will know she has a heart of gold.

She has been an amazing supporter of Bloom and is regularly seen at our clothes swaps and fundraisers.

Her diagnosis has shocked her, the local community and her family. A ‘school’ mum friend has set up a go fund me page. Please feel free to share and/or donate if you can. Even a few £ will help her make some memories and pay vital bills while she is fighting this.

If you can’t donate but would like to help in other ways - later this holiday we will have a group to help provide her with food items, cooked meals, school items for kids in September etc so items you may already have lying around or can pop onto your weekly shopping to help her out.

Hello! I wanted to share something close to my heart. Kerry Morley, a truly kind and selfless single mum, is facing Stage 4 bowel cancer while caring for her three children. Your support can make a real difference in easing their financial burden during this tough time. Please consider donating or sharing the link to help Kerry focus on what matters most—her health and her children. Thank you for your kindness!

Thanks again.

Also Salfords & Sidlow Parish Council will be having their monthly family playgroup on Wednesday. 10.30am start. More details on the poster.

Kate will see you there.

She is also going for a walk and grab a coffee in the Horley recreation ground on Friday - 10.30-11.30am. We will pop to coffee shop first and if those with toddlers want to head to play area after coffee, Kate can find shade in the play area for those with babies. Bring a picnic rug.

What can I say….

Went out with a bang today and I am so incredibly grateful to the community we have built over the past 7 years (6 at this location).

It’s not the end it will just be a reshape and re jig and please keep following this page for summer meet ups and when I have had a chance to ‘stop’ will get planning for Autumn Term.

Thank you so very much to all my wonderful volunteers you have made this community.

Thank you to all the wonderful families that have visited us I have loved being a small part of your journey.

Picture of a beautiful card one of our regular families gave me.

The hugs and squishes today from others were also much appreciated. I only cried a few times so not a blubbering mess!

Left over donations - Picture of Stripey Stork on top of his little pile to help local families.

Horley Lions Club took the books, Meath Green Infant school and one of the local churches will have some shiny new toys from this week.

Lots also going to our Salfords group. Local charity shop got a big trolley worth and the reuse shop at the recycling centre will get the rest next week.

Over £150 taken today to add to rent pot and fund pop up sales and clothes swaps over the next year.

Thank you all again

This Friday at Horley Community Centre in the upstairs Regents Hall.

9.30am until all the toys are sold!

We are sad that our time (after 6 years) has come to an end. Once the hall and centre has been ‘upgraded’ and is open again, we will ask what days they have spaces.

This is our final fundraiser. We currently only have enough funds to open for clothes swaps and the odd pop up session next term.

Come and say Bye (for now) to Kate and help her recycle some of these toys and games that have plenty of life left in them. We don’t have any storage while the halls reverb is being done so lots will be donated to charity shops too.

Cash only please and no charge to come in, so come and have a browse.

We will also be selling our ‘white’ version of our reusable mugs which are £5 each so please bring extra cash for those.

Thank you. Infinity Space to Grow # # #

Due to weather warnings all week the hall we rent have just cancelled our booking for this Friday.

So the ‘FINAL’ session will now be Friday 3rd July which will JUST be our toy sale.

No toys to play with I am afraid just tables set up to sell all the toys we have stored at the centre.

Even next week will be too hot to stay in hall for too long but PLEASE come and support us one last time to shift all the stock!

Kate would also like to see as many past and present families one last time before we close for the summer. :-)

Don’t worry she is still around and will arrange some air con meet ups and park walks asap.

Stay cool everyone # #

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there and grandads, uncles, step parents, soon to be parents, male role models and anyone raising a child as single parent.

Over the past 7 years we have seen lots of Dads at sling sessions and some who share childcare when they come to Bloom.

We helped James run our Dads group a few years back and now support Jack who runs the Secret dads club.

This is a shout out to everyone. Stay safe in the sun and thank you for everything you do for the little people we see. X # # #
