Honest opinions wanted…

Some of you may have noticed I’ve gone a bit AI-crazy lately. 😆

I’ve been creating some slightly different adverts for my business using AI — mainly to make people smile, have a laugh, and help my posts stand out from the endless stream of business cards and “Hi, I do flatpacks” posts.

Here’s the interesting part…

I’m a member of 71 local Facebook groups. In the last week alone, more than half either declined these posts or removed them altogether. I’ve been suspended from 4 groups and permanently blocked from 2.

Yet if I post a photo of my business card with a simple “Hello, I build flatpack furniture,” it gets approved every single time.

Personally, I find that a bit bizarre. Surely having a bit of personality, creativity, and humour is what helps people remember your business?

Or am I completely missing the mark here?

I’d genuinely like to hear your thoughts. Do you prefer straightforward business adverts, or do you like seeing something a bit different in your feed?

Our damsel in distress was Julie in Coulsdon, who was facing a truly dark age dilemma: her wardrobe doors had sadly come adrift, leaving her garments defenseless!

Fear not! Armed with my trusty repair plates, the wrecked holes in the carcass were carefully patched up, and the doors were refitted and perfectly adjusted. Another battle won!

Worked for a great chap called Richard today.

Started off by assembling two metal storage units from Mustard, then moved on to the main event wall mounting four shelf brackets ready for a custom made shelf.

Out came the bilateral laser measure to find the exact wall centre, followed by the laser level to ensure absolute precision. After about an hour of careful measuring, marking, and fixing, all four brackets were perfectly level and spaced to the millimetre.

Attention to detail makes all the difference.

Another job completed, another happy customer. 👊🏼

The PFP Signal hit the clouds at 07:30 AM sharp this morning. 🚨

The distress call came from Gemma in Coulsdon. Before she could even hang up the phone, the PFP Mobile was fueled, fired up, and flying down the road. 🚐💨

The Mission: A flat-pack bunk bed threatening the peace of a local household.

The Result:
🛠️ Bunk bed assembled in record-breaking, superhero time.
📺 Plot twist: Threw in a full TV wall-mounting completely FREE of charge.

I must have been in a suspiciously good mood today.
Don't get used to it, Gotham... I mean, Coulsdon. 😉

Another customer ready for summer. ☀️

Garden furniture set, with fire pit/table + BBQ.

A couple of rivnuts on the BBQ had been cross threaded during manufacture…
Not an issue when you’ve got an array of engineering taps.

Yet another problem solved with zero fuss or inconvenience to the customer. 👌🏼
