☀️🔭 Last week, our Year 5 children enjoyed a fascinating visit from Vincent Morris of the South London Astronomical Society. They learnt all about our Sun, discovering how sunspots and solar flares form, and exploring the incredible process of nuclear fusion that powers our solar system.

The children asked lots of thoughtful questions and enjoyed finding out more about the star at the centre of our solar system. 🌞✨

Our Year 6 children are having a fantastic time at Thames Young Mariners. They have already taken part in raft building. A great show of teamwork and positive attitudes.

Year 6 need your help. If you have any cardboard lying around at home destined for the recycling bin, please send it our way.

We are especially looking for:
Cardboard tubes (kitchen roll tubes, wrapping paper tubes, etc.)
Cardboard boxes (cereal boxes, shoe boxes)

You can drop them off at the school front office or send them in with your child. Thank you so much 😁

To celebrate their achievements, the children enjoyed getting creative by sprucing up and decorating flowerpots together. 🌼🪴 We are so proud of the positive attitudes, kindness and resilience they show every day.
