A note to all our Yr11s: we are proud of you!

No matter what today has brought (with regards to your GCSEs) and no matter what August has brought for any of the other exams, we couldn’t be prouder of how hard you have worked this year!

If you have achieved a pass grade - well done you!!! 🎉🎉

If you achieved a fail grade - remember our cake analogy: not all cakes cook at the same rate (some need a few extra minutes in the oven)! So don’t panic if it’s not a pass this time, it just means there’s a few more steps on your path. It’s not a race, you’ll get there in your own time (if that’s what is right for you).

We saw all the effort, all the tears, all the smiles, all the nerves, all the challenges, all of the determination, all of the hard work and all of the courage…and to us, you are all winners!

Kip McGrath Redditch AP have spaces available for KS3/KS4 pupils for September 2026.

We are a small alternative provision in Redditch supporting pupils with SEND, vulnerable learners who require an individual approach to learning and pupils with anxiety who struggle to access mainstream education.

Our fully qualified (and DBS checked) teachers teach pupils GCSE English, Maths and Science at a pace that suits your child, nurturing their development to achieve their full potential. We can also work towards Functional Skills English and Maths examinations if this is a more suitable level of study.

Here at Kip McGrath Redditch AP, we can offer the following:
🤫A small and quiet environment with no more than 20 pupils
👩‍🏫Fully qualified teachers (with DBS checks)
🎓2 SENCos amongst the staff
💻A personalised learning platform to support pupil progress
📚GCSE and Functional skills teaching
👕No-uniform
✏️A teacher to pupil ratio of around 1:3
🏫Great relationships with local schools, working together to support pupil learning
🌱A nurturing and caring team all with experience of working with SEND pupils.

We aim to build confidence, fill gaps in knowledge/learning and meet the pupils where they are at so we can encourage them on their journey.
