The most important line in your contract isn't the ticket revenue. It's your Duty of Care to the crowd.

This is your legal obligation to ensure that venue capacity, flow rates, and density levels are managed safely.

Putting staff on a barrier line or at an ingress point without training in crowd dynamics? You aren't just risking a crush or a surge, you are failing your legal duty. Safety is a shared responsibility.

Share this post to remind your network that training isn't optional.

Situational Awareness is a trainable habit. It is the ability to establish what normal looks and sounds like in your venue, so that abnormal stands out immediately.

When your staff are trained to practice true Situational Awareness, they notice:

✅The Shift: The change in crowd volume or tone.
✅The Fixation: A guest who is staring or targeting someone.
✅The Anomaly: The bag left alone, or the blocked exit.

The result? You stop reacting to incidents and start preventing them. Which of these 3 signs does your team struggle to spot the most? Let us know in the comments below!

Conflict Resolution isn't about winning an argument. It's about solving a problem.

We often hear "Conflict Resolution" and picture a security guard stopping a fight. But that is the extreme end of the spectrum.
At its core, Conflict Resolution is simply the broad term for solving problems.
A conflict is usually just a gap between what a guest expects and what is happening;

✅The guest expects a drink; the bar is closed.
✅The guest expects entry; their ticket is invalid.
✅The guest expects quiet; the music is loud.

When your staff are trained in Conflict Resolution, they aren't just enforcing rules. They are bridging that gap. They are turning a potential complaint into a solved problem.

Teach your team to be problem solvers, not just rule enforcers.

Tag a staff member who is an expert at turning complaints into solutions!
