Its finally here - the IGE UP 1b edition 4. This version includes changes to the smaller tightness test for Natural Gas and LPG (typically up to 0.035m3 gas volume). It is meant for implementation as soon as practically possible and will be in full effect from 1st October.

It will be included in training and assessments in due course.

As we approach Christmas - please bear in mind that due to extensions given to ACS during COVID - there is a likely to be a peak in engineers requiring re-assessment during the first quarter of 2026.

If you are running out in the early part of next year, please get organised and book in to secure your place. Dont want to nag - but this will make your (and my) life a lot less stressful knowing your place is secured!
