We are getting ready for the new term, as we are sure you are too!

If you have ordered uniform during the holiday, this is available for you to collect on Tuesday and Wednesday next week betwen 10am and 2pm.

If you have ordered later in the holiday, you might just want to give the office a ring to check it is ready before you come up to school. We have a two person team with lots of orders to organise!!

One week to go… Don’t get caught out!

The application deadline for Working Families funded childcare is 31 August.

If you have a pre-school child eligible for early years education funding, you will need to apply NOW for your child to take up their funded hours from September.

HELP!!!

We are looking for help from the community and local businesses...

Our much loved play huts on the Key Stage 2 playground have very sadly come to the end of their life.
Hundreds of children have enjoyed playing, chatting, working and sheltering from sun and rain in them over the years.
We love them!

Before we spend any of our very precious budget on replacing these important resources we thought we would ask for recommendations of local businesses.

So if you know of anyone who can supply/ build similar structures (wood or composite/recycled materials) please let us know.

(We would rather work with someone local than give money to the big companies who charge more than a small fortune!)

Today we say goodbye and thank you for everything to the wonderful Mrs Simon.

Over her many years at Woodrow Sarah has worked with hundreds of children as a teaching assistant, lunchtime supervisor and breakfast club assistant. She has also been part of the cleaning crew.

We will miss her care, her expertise and her lovely manner with the children- but more than that we will miss her warmth, her support, her chats and of course her delicious cake and cheesecake!

We wish her well in her next adventure and send all our love with her ###

Year 4 - what can we say?!
You have been a tremendously lovely bunch!

You've made firm friends, learned lots, laughed lots and been a delight to teach.

Your families too have been wonderful supporters of school and we thank you all for this over the past 5 or so years. It really means everything. Thank you for your kind words this week in person, in cards and home made messages.

Be proud all of you - continue caring, sharing and learning together.

We will really miss you and send you off with love from every single member of

Woo-drow!
We took inspiration from the Norwegians at our Y4 gift giving assembly this morning!
The children were brilliant and the parents and families improved after a few goes!
Mr Kieran needed a little bit of help!!
