A big thank you to Lisa and Charlotte from Willows Veterinary Hospital, who came to visit us a couple of weeks ago as part of our “People Who Help Us” topic 🐾✨

The children had the BEST time getting stuck in, exploring real x-rays, learning how to give medicine to poorly animals, and practising dressing wounds like real vets in the making! 🩺🐶

A special shoutout to Vicky, our brilliant radiologist, who wowed the children with more x-rays and helped them master their bandaging skills, future professionals in action!

This experience supported our EYFS learning beautifully, helping the children to understand the important roles people play in our community, while developing their communication, confidence and hands-on skills.

Thank you all for such a fun, engaging and inspiring visit, you’ve definitely sparked lots of interest (and maybe a few future vets or radiologists!) 💛

We wanted to say a massive congratulations to Tallulah, who we have on placement at Nursery, for winning the David Preston-Lemon Work Experience Student of the Year award at college, what an amazing achievement!

Tallulah works incredibly hard and is such a valued member of our team. She is fantastic with the children, always engaging with them in a kind, caring, and positive way, and she consistently creates a warm and supportive environment within the setting.

She is also extremely reliable and always turns up ready to give her best, which never goes unnoticed. We are so proud of everything she has achieved and feel very lucky to have her with us.

Meet the newest addition of caterpillars, the children have enjoyed watching these grow and reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar to help them understand the lifecycle of a butterfly. The children came up with lots of suggestions for names, and have named this years ones:
