🌱 COULD YOU BE THE PERSON WHO HELPS A YOUNG PERSON ENJOY LEARNING AGAIN?
We’re hiring a Learning Mentor – Alternative Provision in Redditch.
Our Alternative Provision supports young people who, for a variety of reasons, may find mainstream education difficult.
Some of our students experience EBSA, autism, anxiety or other barriers to learning. They don’t need someone who expects them to fit neatly into a box.
They need someone who is patient, encouraging, calm and willing to get to know the young person behind the behaviour. 💙
We’re looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our small, supportive team in Redditch.
🌱 What makes this role different?
You’ll work with young people in a small, nurturing learning environment, helping them to:
• rebuild their confidence
• engage with education again
• develop academically and personally
• overcome barriers to learning
• recognise what they can achieve
You’ll work alongside experienced teachers, providing individual and small-group support – and sometimes simply being the consistent, trusted adult a young person needs that day.
Experience with SEND, ASD, EBSA, SEMH or Alternative Provision would be fantastic, but we’re also interested in the right person with the right attitude.
If you’re compassionate, resilient, positive and genuinely enjoy working with teenagers, we’d really like to hear from you.
