Today we say a heartfelt farewell to an incredible leader, colleague and friend as our CEO, Mr Ward begins a very well-deserved retirement.
After an outstanding 34 years dedicated to education in Redditch, he leaves behind a legacy that will be felt for generations. Through his leadership, passion and unwavering commitment to young people, he has helped shape not only Bordesley Multi Academy Trust, but the wider Redditch community. Countless pupils, families and colleagues have benefited from his vision, support and determination to make a difference.
Beyond education, many of us know him for his love of golf, classic cars, and his passion for beekeeping—always bringing the same patience, care and attention to detail to his hobbies as he has throughout his career.
As he and his wife begin this exciting new chapter together, we wish them every happiness, good health and many wonderful adventures. May retirement bring plenty of time for the golf course, the garage, the apiary, and making memories with family and friends.
Thank you for 34 years of dedication, leadership and service to the children, families and schools of Redditch. Your impact has been immeasurable, and your legacy will continue long after your final day.
