Peridot Class have been busy creating our school display to celebrate Show Racism the Red Card Day!

Today marks the 30th anniversary of Show Racism the Red Card, celebrating three decades of campaigning against racism.

We think you'll agree that Peridot Class have done a fantastic job!

The display has brought our school community together, with pupils and staff contributing their own anti-racism messages to show our shared commitment to standing against racism.

Our school stands together against racism!

We are pleased to announce that we are supporting The Teesside Charity Christmas Toy Appeal again this year 🧑‍🎄

Our toy appeal donation box is due to be delivered today into our school reception. Any donations of unwrapped presents or selection boxes would be massively appreciated.

Every gift that is donated makes a huge difference so let's make this Christmas extra magical for our local children 🎄🎁

💫Good Life Schools Project💫

We didn’t have to go far for the Redcar & Cleveland Good Life Schools Celebration Event, with some of our Year 10 students spending the day across the road at Redcar College on Tuesday.
We enjoyed plenty of cakes and pastries, created a podcast, talked about the amazing things we achieved throughout the project, and had the opportunity to see what other schools had been working on.
Our students took to the day like the true TV and radio stars they are! Having already appeared on both TV and radio to promote the amazing artwork they created in collaboration with graffiti artist ZX8BIT, they were confident, enthusiastic and brilliant ambassadors for our school.

Well done Year 10 - you did us proud yet again!

Reading Club – books out, world off! 📚

Our secondary pupils have been enjoying some dedicated independent reading time at our weekly Reading Club. Whether it’s curled up on a beanbag or hiding behind a favourite book, everyone gets the chance to slow down, get comfortable and read something that genuinely interests them.

It’s All in the Eyes!

Our artists in Year 7 have been developing their drawing skills by using mirrors (and just an HB pencil) to carefully observe and draw their own eyes.

They have been experimenting with shading, toning and adding detail, looking closely at light and dark areas to make their drawings more realistic and three-dimensional.
