Teaching Hands have a variety of courses for both parents and professionals in Infant Massage, Baby Signing and Makaton Teaching Hands is based in Redcar, running courses throughout the Teesside area of UK. If you are intereseted in courses to be set up in your area, please send an e-mail informing me of your requirements. Teaching Hands will be offering a range of courses and training for both pa

rents and professionals. Teaching Hands also offers Reflexology sessions for adults who need a bit of 'me time', this can be done in the comfort of your own home at a time and day to suit you- so you don't even need to find a babysitter!

Enjoyed teaching at Daisy chain last week ❤️❤️

Thank you to Maria McSorley from Teaching Hands who joined us last week to deliver a Makaton Workshop. 🖐

Attendees took a great deal from the session, from how symbols and signs are used to support people to communicate to how Makaton can support language development.

Instead of our usual Links Parent Support Group on Thursday 23rd March, we'll be welcoming Maria McSorley from Teaching Hands to deliver a Makaton Workshop.

Makaton is a unique language programme that uses symbols, signs and speech to enable people to communicate and help to stimulate sounds and words. The visual way of communicating helps language development, such as putting words together.

This 2-hour taster workshop at Daisy Chain's main site in Norton is designed as a beginner's guide to Makaton, and Maria will be on hand to answer any questions.
