Our Success Story
We started St. Albans Maths Tutors in September 2009. A joint enterprise of two highly qualified senior maths teachers with over 40 years combined teaching experience in both state and private schools. Our primary aim was to offer high quality Maths tuition to pupils in Secondary schools to become more proficient and confident in Maths in order to pass their exams.
Our aim was underpinned by our philosophy:
• To teach in a way that everyone can understand,
• To make learning enjoyable,
• To motivate students to learn,
• To inspire students to achieve academic success and confidence.
Since 2009, we have successfully demonstrated that our philosophy works. We have taught numerous students of varying abilities in private and state schools to achieve their full academic potential and succeed in their exams.
The Success Story Continues
Our success in Maths, led to an overwhelming demand from parents for primary tuition and also secondary tuition for English and Science
In June 2023, we seized the opportunity and took the initiative to extend our enterprise beyond the boundaries of Maths, and opened “The Tutor Hub” in Redbourn High Street.
“The Tutor Hub” is a tuition centre that has given us the opportunity to branch out into primary tuition by offering Maths and English and offering secondary tuition in English and Science. We now have an extended highly qualified tuition team with excellent specialist Primary tutors and outstanding specialist Secondary tutors who share our vision commitment and passion.
Since 2009 our tuition services have changed, however our educational philosophy and aim to deliver excellent face to face tuition remains unchanged.
