This week, our Sign of the Week is “Sister”! 👧👧
We’ll be practising the sign together throughout the week and encouraging the children to use it during our everyday activities. 🤲✨
We also have some very special news to share… 💕 One of our very valued members of staff will be starting her maternity leave earlier than expected, meaning this Thursday will be her last day with us for a little while.
We are so excited for her as she gets ready to welcome her beautiful baby girl into the world! 🎀 We will certainly miss her at nursery, but we’re looking forward to welcoming her back when she is ready, along with her gorgeous little girl.
Please join us in wishing her lots of love, happiness and good luck for this very special next chapter! 💗🌸

🌿🎨 Little hands, big imaginations! 🪵✨

Our room has been busy getting creative with nature! 🍂🌿 The children have been using leaves, sticks and other natural treasures to create their very own artwork. 🎨🍃

We’ve also been busy exploring our mud kitchen 🥣🪵, mixing, scooping and cooking up lots of imaginative creations! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳🤎

And of course, our little gardeners have been taking care of our flowers, giving them plenty of water and love! 🌸💧🌱

So much exploring, creating and learning through play! 💚✨

Our nursery children have been having so much fun exploring fine motor activities! 👐🎨 From picking, pinching and threading to sorting and creating, every little movement is helping to build those important hand and finger muscles. 💪🧠

And the best part? They’re learning through play, curiosity and lots of smiles! 😍🌈

Our little daisies have been busy enjoying the garden, getting stuck into our giant chocolate messy tray 🍫🤎, splashing and scooping with our colourful foam tray 🫧🥄, and discovering new things through our sensory books 📚👶.

So many opportunities to explore, create, feel, and learn through play! 💕🌿
