It was lovely to attend the Dingley's Promise Garden Party and Community Fair at Englefield Estate last Sunday and see so many people enjoying the beautiful gardens, local stalls, refreshments, and family entertainment.
Most importantly, the event raised vital funds to support children with SEND and their families across Berkshire. Thank you to everyone who made the day such a success.

Thank you to the Berkshire Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre for inviting me to the Volunteer's Summer Garden Party in Recognition of the King's Award for Voluntary Service on Friday 5 June. It was a delight to celebrate the fantastic volunteers who help this charity do such an incredible job.

I had a great time at the GLL Sport Foundation Awards Evening at University of Reading last night. Well done to all the nominees, and thank you to the GLL Sport Foundation for supporting the development of local young athletic talent.

I was delighted to begin my Mayoral Year by attending the Mayors Challenge at Meadway Sports Centre last Thursday. It was great to see so many children taking part despite the extreme heat. Many thanks to our leisure providers GLL for organising and running this popular annual event.
