π The Moments That Matter π΄
What makes Hall Place special? We asked the people who know it best. π
From first rides and unforgettable horses, to #, confidence, achievements and memories made along the way β sometimes itβs the smallest moments that stay with us the longest. For over 50 years, Hall Place has been more than simply a place to ride. Itβs been a place to learn, to grow, to belong and, for so many people, a place filled with memories theyβll carry with them for years to come.
This summer, weβre proud to take part in the British Horse Societyβs campaign, celebrating the incredible moments created every day at BHS Approved Centres. π΄β¨
These are just some of ours.
Now weβd love to hear yoursβ¦ π
What is a Hall Place moment that has mattered to you? π Tell us in the comments π

π Meet Lindsey π
If youβve been at Hall Place a while, youβll likely know Lindsey! ππ΄
Lindsey has been part of the Hall Place family for 12 years and is a full-time instructor and our Changing Lives Through Horses (CLTH) Coordinator, and itβs her birthday today! π
Lindsey is passionate about using horses to support young people who thrive outside a traditional classroom. Through CLTH and alternative education, she helps them build confidence, communication and life skills with the help of our horses. π΄π

For Lindsey, itβs about more than riding. Itβs about seeing young people grow and achieve what they didnβt think possible.
Horses are a family affair too! She owns Chester, and her twins Mags and Violet are also part of the team. π₯Ή
Fun factβ¦ If Barney ever goes missing from the yard he will be in her garden as she loves him and she might steal him from us! ππ΄
After 12 years, Lindsey is a much-loved part of Hall Place. Be sure to say hello next time you see her! π

π Meet Rachel π
Weβre delighted to introduce Rachel, one of our Riding Instructors and Grooms here at Hall Place! ππ΄
Rachel holds her BHS Stage 2 and BHS Stage 2 Coaching qualifications, but her journey with Hall Place started long before she joined the team.
She first rode with us and became a helper back in 2012, before returning to work at Hall Place in 2023.
Rachel is passionate about helping riders improve their position and become more effective and confident in the saddle. She particularly loves incorporating pole work into her lessons, helping both horse and rider develop together.
Outside of teaching, Rachel has two horses of her own. π΄ Kite, who is now 28, is enjoying a very well-deserved retirement in the field, while Piggy is currently in training ready for more shows this summer.
And if youβve been around Hall Place for a while, you might already know Rachel has a soft spot for Cheerio! π€ Heβs her favourite riding school horse, and the pair also compete together in our Hall Place Dressage competitions.
Weβre so happy to have Rachel as part of the Hall Place family and to have someone who has been part of our story for so many years.
Be sure to say hello next time you see Rachel at the yard! π
