Through our programme, equipment recovered from customers in reasonable condition is refurbished by our apprentices. Once restored, these items are rehomed to local community causes, across the UK such as soup kitchens, sports clubs, village shops and pubs. A great evening at the 𝗟𝗖𝗟 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀, where 𝗠𝗖𝗙𝗧 was honoured to be recognised with the 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱.

The award recognises initiatives that create a positive impact within local communities. Through our pre-loved initiative, our apprentices refurbish commercial catering and refrigeration equipment as part of their training before it's donated to organisations that could do with a helping hand.

A useful practical session for our apprentices, focused on nutrition, energy and making better food choices while working out in the field.

Some of the group put their previous hospitality experience to good use, helping prepare a homemade bolognese for everyone.

Developing great engineers is about more than technical training. It also means giving apprentices the practical knowledge and confidence to look after themselves while travelling and working on the road.
