Today we were delighted to welcome Olivia Bailey, MP for Reading West and Mid Berkshire, to St Paul’s Catholic Primary School as part of our UK Parliament Week activities! 🇬🇧✨
Our Year 5 and 6 pupils have been learning all about how Parliament works, what MPs do, and how we can all play a part in shaping our country. Olivia spoke passionately about her work, answered lots of thoughtful questions from the children, and even shared a bit about what she enjoys doing at home — including cooking and watching TV!
The pupils were excited, engaged, and inspired throughout the visit — a fantastic way to bring their learning to life! 🌟
Thank you, Olivia, for spending time with us and helping our pupils understand democracy in action. 👏
