Summertime theme at nursery! ☀️
Although the weather wasn't very summery this week, we brought the sunshine indoors with our summer-themed activities!
The children enjoyed lots of arts and crafts, decorating, and practising their early writing skills. There was plenty of creativity, learning, and fun throughout the week.

🌍 This Week at Nursery: Cultural Week! 🌍

This week, we celebrated Cultural Week and had a wonderful time learning about the many cultures that make our nursery community so special.

The children shared their cultures through traditional clothing, cultural objects, and by talking about their traditions and family customs. We were all delighted to learn so many new things and celebrate our diversity together. As a bonus we also tastes some traditional foods from around the world provided by our wonderful staff.

On Wednesday, we enjoyed our cooking activity and made fresh, homemade chapatis, which the children loved helping to prepare.

Thursday brought our usual sports session, full of energy, fun, and smiles.

We can't wait to see what next week will bring! Here are some photos from our week.

Friendly Reminder
Just a reminder that the first Monday after the holiday is an INSET Day, so we will be opening our gates for pupils on Tuesday, 2nd June.

This Week at Nursery: Sounds and Movements

This week was all about sounds and movements!
We put our ears to good use and took a lovely walk to the park to listen to the sounds of nature. We heard birds singing, the wind blowing, and leaves rustling, but also trains, cars, and people around us.

Back at nursery, we continued our listening activities and discovered all the different sounds we can hear indoors too. The children had lots of fun identifying and talking about the sounds around them.

We also enjoyed colouring, reading, dancing, and on Thursday, we had our exciting sports session with the USPORTS teacher. ⚽

What a fun and busy week it has been!
And with this, we break for our one-week holiday.

Hello everybody!

Here we are, another Friday already!
We wish you all a beautiful and relaxing weekend.

The weather was a little capricious this week, but that certainly didn’t stop the learning and fun here at the nursery! We crafted, painted, cooked, and enjoyed fresh air and outdoor sports whenever we could.

This week, our theme was Cars and Transportation.
The children had lots of fun learning about different modes of transport through exciting activities, and in our cooking sessions we even made edible cars!
