We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of alumna, Daphne Selfe, who recently passed away at the age of 97. Daphne’s remarkable life and extraordinary career in the world of fashion served as an inspiration to many across generations, showing that passion, resilience and confidence know no age.

As a Queen Anne’s School alumnae, Daphne carried our values of courage, individuality, and lifelong curiosity into everything she did. From her early days on the catwalk to her return to modelling later in life - redefining beauty standards and championing inclusivity.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and all who were inspired by her extraordinary journey. Daphne’s legacy will continue to inspire and our community for years to come.

We were delighted to host Queen Anne's Alumnae last Friday for a special pre-Westminster Abbey drinks reception at The Grey Coat Hospital School. Part of the United Westminster & Grey Coat Foundation, The Grey Coat Hospital School is a Church of England school for girls and our 'sister' school in the Foundation.

The evening celebrated the remarkable strength of our Queen Anne’s community. 🥂✨

It was heart-warming to see these enduring bonds in action as we reflected on decades of shared experiences, ahead of the much-anticipated Service of Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey, where many of our alumnae also lent their voices to the choir.

We look forward to welcoming many more alumnae at our upcoming Reunion Day. ❤️

We were saddened to learn of the passing of Nicki Coombs, a former member of our staff who left in 2014.
