Being a parent isn’t easy. At some point, almost all families with young children will face a prob

I visited a lovely family this week whose 1-year-old had been co-sleeping with Mum.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with that. Co-sleeping was working for them, until it wasn't.

Mum was ready for more space, more sleep, and a plan for helping her little one sleep independently, but she wanted to do it gently.

So that's exactly what we did.

We moved her onto a floor bed, with Mum staying in the room. No sudden changes. No leaving her to cry. No expecting her to cope with something she wasn't ready for.

The focus wasn't on "getting her to sleep alone".

The focus was on helping her feel secure enough that sleeping alone will eventually feel safe.

Over the next few weeks, Mum will gradually move further away, while using the attachment-based strategies we've put in place to build her daughter's confidence and sense of security.

Because when children feel safe, sleep becomes so much easier.

This is what I love about my work. Sleep support doesn't have to be all-or-nothing. It doesn't have to mean shutting the door and hoping for the best.

There are gentle ways to make big changes.

If you're sharing a bed with your child and wondering how you'll ever get them into their own sleep space, I can help.

Every plan I create is tailored to your child, your family, and what feels right for you. ❤️

Quick PSA: the "4-month sleep regression" isn't a regression.

It's a permanent neurological progression. Your baby's brain is maturing from newborn-style sleep (2 stages) to adult-style sleep (4). It will not reset itself in 2 weeks if new habits stick.

This carousel: what's actually happening, the 4 things that help tonight, and the most common parent question I get, "how long does it last?"

Comment the week you're in (1, 5, 10) and I'll DM the parents who reply who are most stuck. Or DM 'REGRESSION' for the full plan.

Specialist support for sleep, behaviour, and the regression that won't quit.

If you're watching this at 2am, 3am, or 4am while your child is awake again, this is for you 💛

Maybe you've tried all the advice.

Maybe you've bought the books, followed the routines, downloaded the apps and spent hours searching for answers.

Maybe you're exhausted from hearing that your child "should" be sleeping by now.

I've sat with hundreds of parents in this exact moment.

Parents who love their children fiercely but are running on empty.

Parents who are questioning themselves, their instincts, and whether they're somehow getting it wrong.

The truth is that sleep struggles are rarely about bad parenting.

And while you're not failing, you also don't have to keep struggling through this alone.

Sometimes one conversation can make all the difference.

One call. That's all it takes to start changing things.

60-second self-assessment. Pick A or B for each question, tally up.

→ At bedtime: calm or chaos?
→ Night wakings: under 10 min or a whole event?
→ Routine slips: rolls with it or unravels?

Comment your tally (e.g. "A-B-B"). I'll DM the one habit most likely keeping you stuck, based on your specific pattern.

If you're mostly B, that's the family I work with most. One call. A clear plan. 8 weeks of WhatsApp support. DM 'PLAN' for the next step.

No script. No upsell. Just an honest read on whether I can help.

POV: it’s 3:07am, your baby has been awake for 2 hours, and suddenly you’re googling:

“Can babies smell fear?”
“Why does my baby only sleep if I sacrifice my own basic needs?”
“Is it normal to cry over a muslin cloth?”
“How long can a human survive on broken sleep and oat bars?”

Sleep deprivation is WILD.
And honestly? Sometimes what exhausted parents need most isn’t another rigid routine or scary sleep advice… it’s reassurance, support, and someone to say: you’re not failing.

If you’ve ever found yourself deep in the 3am Google rabbit hole, you’re definitely not alone 💛

What an inspiration! This dedicated mum has made tremendous progress with anxiety and sleep training in just over a fortnight, all while going solo. I'm thrilled to support her journey and proud of her success.
