Start of a Study refurb in Charvil. Stayed tuned for the results of a bold new colour scheme and new furniture!

Yet another flaking bathroom ceiling. Mould killer on any black spots, then scrape and rub down affected areas and coat with Peel Stop. Then 2 coats of Zinsser CeilingPro.

Today's view from the office! It's a bit warm! Oh and these patches remind us how important it is to 'mist' coat or seal new plaster!

This bathroom has a number of peeling and flaking patches. Here's the fix:
1. Scrape until a decent edge...scary!
2. Sand with medium grit.
3. Apply Zinsser Peel Stop.
4. Skim/Fill using a soft, powder based filler so that you dont see edges around peeled area.
5. Rub down gently, for final finish.
6. Prime/seal. I use Zinsser Bullseye.
7. Top coat with an eggshell or bathroom paint.

Nice local lounge refurb. Walls in Dulux Timeless, plus new carpets supplied and expertly fitted by Alan Haywood. A transformation.

'Orrible job but sorted in the end. Ceiling scraped, sanded, repaired. Applied PeelStop to bind the surface, then 2 coats of Zinsser CeilingPro. Before, during and after pics.

This Wargrave job involved not only decorating, but installation of ornate plaster ceiling Roses, plus new lights. Paint on walls and woodwork is JoJo's White by Coat.

Dining room refurb. Two very bad walls that needed lots of repair, then lining with Wallrock paper. Then a deep blue feature wall and Dulux Rich Cream on the rest. Great transformation!
