Parents and family carers of autistic children who live in Reading can book appointments or get drop-in advice sessions at the borough council's new family hubs.
The sessions are run by Jackie Perrin, the Autism Advisor to Families for Brighter Futures for Children, which runs children's services on behalf of Reading Borough Council.

The next Artists and Makers Fair is on Saturday 9th May, it coincides with the Saturday of the Caversham Arts Trail so you can make a day of it and link in with that. The Fair is based in the Gosbrook Road Methodist Church from 10 am to 4 pm and is now run by a community interest company supporting local creative projects. There is plenty of free on street parking available and it is close to central Caversham. There will be approximately 20 stalls packed with unique handcrafted gifts and there are children’s activities and refreshments at the popular Lobby Cafe. The event is dog friendly.
