Reading Families’ Forum is holding a free information and fun afternoon for families of children and teenagers with additional needs who live in the town at the start of October.
There will be the chance for parents/carers to find out about local services and hear about planned SEND reforms, plus lots of accessible fun for all the family, including face painting and the chance to meet some reptiles.
The event is on Saturday, October 3, from 2.30pm to 5pm at the River Academy, in Richfield Avenue, Reading.

Palmer Park Leisure Centre & Stadium in Reading offers weekly inclusive cycling sessions on Wednesday mornings from 11am to noon.
They take place at the centre's velodrome and are led by qualified instructors. A range of adapted bikes is available to suit a wide range of abilities and people with different needs.
The sessions are open to anyone aged 4+. Please note that a parent or carer must attend the session.
Places cost £5.25 per person who is cycling.
