Celebrating achievements and new beginnings.

Today we're recognising the hard work and dedication of our students, including many of our top performers with multiple grade 9's who have chosen to stay with us for Sixth Form. Their results reflect years of commitment, and we are thrilled to support them as they begin the next chapter in our brand-new Sixth Form Centre.

Congratulations to every student receiving their results today.

Reading Girls’ School is saddened to hear of the consultation concerning the possible closure of St Joseph’s College, an institution that has been part of the educational life of Reading for many years.

We recognise that this period may bring uncertainty for families as they consider the future education of their children. As a school serving the Reading community, we remain committed to providing a supportive, ambitious and inclusive environment for young people.

While we have a limited number of places available, we would welcome enquiries from parents who may wish to learn more about Reading Girls’ School. Our Principal, Marika Farrugia, would be pleased to meet with families and offer a tour of the school, so that parents can gain a clear understanding of the education, guidance and support we provide.

Our Year 7 students had an amazing visit from Berkshire Reptile Encounters last week! 🐍🦎🐢

Students had the opportunity to learn about a variety of fascinating reptiles, discovering interesting facts about their habitats, diets, adaptations, and how they survive in the wild. It was a hands-on experience that brought learning to life and sparked lots of curiosity and excitement!

A huge thank you to Berkshire Reptile Encounters for such an engaging and educational visit. 🌟
