We’re incredibly grateful to have Stable Futures- Amegreen as part of the Amegreen family! For our young people, visits like these mean so much more than a day at the farm. From horse riding and caring for the animals to getting involved in practical activities, every visit brings opportunities to try something new, build confidence, develop skills and simply enjoy being outdoors. 🌳🌈

Another exciting development taking shape across Amegreen Education! 🙌🏻 Take a first look at Juniper Acres, our new outdoor learning provision supporting students across Juniper House School and other Amegreen Education settings.

Summer holidays at Amegreen are all about making memories, trying new things and having plenty of fun along the way! ☀️

From adventures in Weymouth and time at Hayling Island, to a first bus journey while completing an AQA, visits to Stable Futures- Amegreen and even meeting the newest member of the herd, Raven, our young people have certainly been making the most of their summer.

This August, we have launched Work Experience Wednesdays at Head Office, giving our young people the opportunity to spend time with different teams, learn more about the world of work and develop practical skills for the future. 🙌🏻📚

Our first session focused on Finance, with young people learning about budgeting, petty cash, invoicing and more alongside colleagues from Finance and Learning & Development. They were engaged, contributed to discussions and came away speaking positively about the experience. A brilliant first step in building confidence, independence and skills for adulthood!

We have some very exciting news to share! 🎉

Amegreen Children’s Services has been named a finalist in two categories at this year’s National Children and Young People Awards.

We’ve been shortlisted for the Employer Award, recognising the culture and environment we’ve built at Amegreen, and Beth Baker is a finalist for the Administrator Award, celebrating the vital behind-the-scenes work that keeps our teams and young people supported.

We’re incredibly proud of both nominations and of everyone who plays a part in making Amegreen what it is every day. 🙌🏻

A huge congratulations to Beth and the whole Amegreen team. Being named finalists in not just one, but two categories is already a huge honour and something we’re incredibly proud of!

We are proud to share that Blackberries has been rated Good in its very first Ofsted inspection since opening in January 2026. ⭐

The report recognised the warm, nurturing environment created by the team, the strong relationships built with the children and the positive progress they are already making. Inspectors praised the home’s calm, therapeutic approach, individualised care and the staff’s commitment to helping every child feel safe, understood and supported.

The inspection also recognised the home’s outstanding leadership, with the effectiveness of leaders and managers judged as Outstanding.

A huge congratulations to the entire Blackberries team on this fantastic achievement and for everything they do to support the children in their care every day. 💚
