In true community fashion, it’s also essential for us to teach our pupils the importance of giving back, and so at the start of this week Miss Phillips and the student leaders organised a bake sale to raise funds for those affected by the devastating flooding in Nepal, a country linked to many of our NT families. Our amazing staff, pupils and families did not disappoint with their wonderful contributions and we raised £165. Thank you to all those who supported us. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected. 💜💚

We have had a fantastic start to the year at NT with happy faces, enthusiastic learners and lots of positive behaviour. This was all topped off this week with each and every pupil being rewarded with a “back to school” bag which they have been able to take home. Huge thanks to Avantor Sciences in Theale for their generosity in gifting these to us - we had extremely grateful children who were delighted to receive them! Avantor

🏕️💜💚 Y6 residential 💚💜🏕️

We've had a great first day at camp. Once we arrived and set up our tents, we explored the site and got used to our surroundings. After fun sweeping the field for insects and learning about the bees, we enjoyed our lunch then went off to the river with our teddy bear rafts. We had a great time in our waders trying to catch things with our nets. We caught several fish and other interesting creatures. Back at camp we enjoyed some free time in the field then had a delicious dinner where nearly everyone asked for seconds!
Later on we played some team games and then had hot chocolate in the barn. We've all finished the day in good spirits. Everyone is in their tents now settling down for a good night's sleep before an action packed day tomorrow.
