YOU DON’T NEED THE PERFECT PLAN… YOU JUST NEED TO START. 👊

So many of us wait for the “right time”.

When we’re fitter.
When we’re more confident.
When life settles down.
When we feel completely ready.

But the truth is, that perfect moment might never come.

The person climbing the rough ladder might not have everything perfectly measured, perfectly planned or perfectly prepared… but they’re already moving upwards. 🪜

That’s the same with martial arts and with life.

🥋 Start as a beginner.
👊 Learn as you go.
💪 Make mistakes.
📈 Improve one step at a time.

You don’t have to see the whole journey before taking the first step.

Progress comes from ACTION, not PERFECTION.

So ask yourself…

👉 What are you still waiting to make perfect before you begin?

🥋 INSTRUCTOR TO STUDENT FEEDBACK

Sometimes getting the upper hand in your ground game isn’t just about strength or technique it’s about creating a distraction and making your opponent react. 👊🧠

Tonight we worked on using small movements, pressure and distractions to draw a reaction, create an opening and then take advantage of it.

The ground game is like a game of chess think ahead, create the reaction, then make your move. 🥋🔥

Great work from the students listening, asking questions and putting the feedback into practice. 🖤💛

🖤💛 THIS MORNING’S JOBS! 💛🖤

A few of the fantastic custom orders we’ve been busy putting together this morning following our Pop-Up Shop on Saturday! 🥋🔥

From personalised drawstring bags to some completely different Kazoku designs, it’s great seeing these ideas come to life! 🐉🌸🐟

A massive thank you to everyone who came along, placed an order and supported the club. 🙏

We’ve still got plenty more orders to work through, so keep an eye out for yours! 👀🖤💛

Dear Karate and Kombat Students and Families,

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which means our annual Wear Pink for October fundraiser is returning! 💗

This is something we proudly support every year. The cause is very close to the hearts of some of our students and families, so we want to do our part and help make a difference no matter how small.

Throughout October, the following special items will be available:

🥋 Karate and Kombat pink-and-black belts – £10

💗 Kombat breast cancer awareness patches – £7

Please ask in class for your belts and patches.
